Don’t-Miss Venus-Jupiter Conjunction!

The month ends with a beautiful celestial scene. Venus and Jupiter come extremely close together on the 30th in a don’t-miss conjunction! It’s the day of the New Moon, so the skies should also be as dark as possible. Look 45 minutes – 1 hour before sunrise (6:41 A.M.) in the southeast. The two planets nearly merge into one bright glow! (On May 1, they flip sides and continue to glow.)
